Concern over lumps in my neck

Hi Guys,

I’m 3 years post op for DCIS in my left breast. I’m on Exemestane and Zoladax injection. Other than the odd bone pain, mainly my knees and back! I’ve been good. Now I have swelling above my clavicle on both sides, larger on the left side, so basically where there’s usually the indent I have puffy ball like lumps!

I have had them now for about 5/6 weeks, have a call booked in with my GP on Monday and a call with my Oncologist of the 25th.
I just wondered if there was anybody out there that could give me any advice?

Thank You

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

It's naturally worrying when we discover something new has happened but you've done the right thing in contacting your GP and oncologist.

As the online community is divided up into different support groups I'm going to recommend that you join the breast cancer group which is a great places to ask questions, share experiences and get support from others with this type of cancer. Whilst the community guidelines do not allow members to give advice we can share our experiences so if someone else has had something similar they will usually pop on.

Clicking on the link I've created will take you to the group where you can then join and post in the same way as you did here. You can also join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help
