Hi, I was diagnosed with cervical cancer last year and on the advice of my consultant I had a hysterectomy, all good and no further treatment needed. My question is has anyone else been refused a claim from ReAssure well woman insurance stating that their cancer wasn't invasive! This is after reports were sent from my consultant which obviously showed that all the cancer had been removed, when I took out the insurance (around 25 years ago) I am sure the information I was given stated that the claim would be paid on diagnosis, and I just wondered if anyone else has had the same response

I'm sorry to read that your insurance claim has been refused.
The online community is divided up into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join and post in the cervical cancer group as that will give you the opportunity of directly speaking to others who may have experience claiming with this company for cervical cancer.

You might also want to contact the ask a financial guide section of the online community to see if they can help you further with your claim or a possible appeal.
