Hello everyone.
Please guide me. I would like to help my friend. She lost a husband to cancer and now the second husband is in palliative care. I would like to give her a phone number to call someone in Romanian language to chat. To listen to her when she is struggling.
Hi Miamaria and a warm welcome to the Online Community although I am so sorry to hear about your friends challenges.
Could I suggest that you call the Macmillan Support Line. It is open 8am-8pm (timings may differ across services) 7 days a week on 0808 808 00 00
This service provides cancer information, practical information, emotional support, benefits/financial guidance or just a listening ear.
You can also ask then about our none English Speaking Language Support as well as checking to see if they have a Telephone Buddy Service to see if they have a Romanian speaking Buddy who understands what she is going through, and they'll give her a weekly call.
Always around if you need further help in navigating the community.
All the very best.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
