Hi I’m new to the group , 2 months ago I got diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 bowel cancer, I’ve waited 2 month but start chemo in 2 weeks time, I have to have a Hickman line in and I’m feeling very anxious about this is there anyone who’s had the same .

I'm sorry to read about your recent diagnosis and it's natural to feel anxious about something you've not encountered before.
The online community is divided up into different support groups and I can see that you've already found and joined the bowel cancer group which is a great place to ask your questions about a Hickman line, share experiences and get support from other others with the same type of cancer. When you feel ready to post there just click on the link I've created which will take you straight there. You can then start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
