I understand same for me, I’m taking each day as a time and trying not to be scared- my oncology team are brilliant and I  ask them questions all the time, they make me feel so much better

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm sorry to read about your recent diagnosis and although I have a different type of cancer to you I totally understand about going from completely fit and well to ill in a very short space of time.

The online community is divided up into different support groups and I can see that you've already found and joined the womb cancer group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support from other others with the same type of cancer. When you feel ready to post there just click on the link I've created which will take you straight there. You can then start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help

  • Hi and welcome to the online community

I'm not sure if you have the same type of cancer as Crocus but if you do clicking on the link I've created in my response to her above will take you to the womb cancer group which you could then join and post in.

If it's a different type of cancer, if you'd like to tell me which type it is I can give you a direct link to the group or, alternatively, you can look through this list and choose the one that's relevant to you.

When you have a minute it would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and proposed treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
