did anyone get a nurse to do theirs? Or did you just do it?

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

You haven't said what type of cancer you're being treated for but I can see that you've joined the breast cancer group which is a great place to ask your question, share experiences and get support from others with the same type of cancer as you. I'm sure you'll get lots of replies to your post there.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help

  • Hi darling, my mastectomy operation was last Tuesday and they told me I have to remove it by myself. I called them I told them I can't do it because I don't want to see what was happened so my lovely nurse book it a day to take it off
