Hello I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer is November I am coming to the end of my chemo and then will have double mastectomy. I’ve just turned 31 years old last week. Today I’m feeling so low and depressed like I’m stuck in a rut. It’s happened before and it will pass (hopefully) I just feel So guilty on my 2 year old daughter. I feel like I can’t be the mum she needs right now. I’m constantly tired and then my family offer to look after my daughter so I can rest but then I feel guilty that I’m not there for her or I’m not with her. I just want the best life for her and it’s so hard

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

As you know the community is divided up into different support groups and I can see that you've already joined the triple negative breast cancer group. Could I also recommend the main breast cancer group as well. They are both great places to ask questions, share experiences and get support.

If you'd like to join this additional group join just click on the link I've created. When you feel ready to post in either group clicking on the links here will take you straight there where you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help
