October 2021 I just finished chemo sessions. Then had radiotherapy.
has anyone else experienced tingly fingers and toes which sometimes feel a bit stiff.  I have been told this is a side effect of chemo and could take. 6 months to a year to be back to normal

has anyone had this experience and how long  did it take for me the sensation to go.  I understand that everyone will be different. But just trying to find an average.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm sorry to read that you're experiencing tingly fingers and toes which sometimes feel stiff and this certainly sound unpleasant to me. I didn't have chemotherapy or radiotherapy so didn't have this experience.

You don't say what type of cancer you are being treated for but if you'd like to tell me I could give you a link to that group within the community so that you could chat to others who may have experienced the same. Alternatively you could look through this list and choose the one that's appropriate for you.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help
