Hello I’m new on here. I’ve been diagnosed with melonoma. After numerous tests my latest being a pet scan I was seen by plastic surgeon on Thursday and told I will be having groin disection in two to three weeks . This all started I early December . Feeling really anxious has anybody any similar experience of this . It all started with finding lump in groin

I'm sorry to read that you've recently been diagnosed with melanoma. Having had this diagnosis myself 5 years ago I can understand exactly how anxious you're feeling right now.
As the community is divided up into different support groups I'm going to recommend that you join me over in the melanoma group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support from others in a similar position.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway.
