Hi  all, I'm just newly diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer which is Oestrogen, Progesterone and Her 2 positive, Chemo is starting on Wednesday and I am dreading it so much. I have plenty of support which is fantastic but at the same time I feel so alone. Reading other people's posts before joining let me see that this was a great community to be part of. If anyone else that has ibc and would be willing to share their journey also anyone else with Breast cancer too would be much appreciated. Thanks

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.

I'm glad that you feel that this will be a great community to be part of. As it's divided up into different support groups I'm going to recommend that you join both the inflammatory breast cancer and main breast cancer groups which are both great places to ask questions, share experiences and get support.

To join just click on the links I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help

  • Yes me too. Although only at the very beginning of this journey. Any chance you still look at this? I could do with a friend) Blush

  • Hi again  just coming on to say that this post is over 2 years old now….. but the group member may still be looking in.

I see that you have joined the inflammatory breast cancer support group, this is a great places to ask questions, share experiences and get support.
