Woke up feeling very tearful and anxious and found a link to this site.
A close friend may have started their cancer journey. A colonoscopy indicated 4cm likely malignant tumour.
We are in that angonising limbo, awaiting biopsy results, another scan this week and the first MDT meeting next week.
But it's hit me hard that I might lose my best friend and I'm finding keeping on an even keel very difficult.
Hi and a warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is an informative and supportive place.
As it's divided up into different support groups I'm going to recommend that you join the family and friends group which is a great place for anyone who has someone they care about with cancer to discuss their emotions and give and receive support.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help
