Hi Everyone,

My 56 year old husband has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer last week, literally picked up via a PSA test at a pop up centre in our town two months ago. No symptoms what so ever, assumed in good health so can imagine our shock when his results come back with a reading of 7.9. Sounds like we've been lucky as prognosis is good and looking at curative treatment. Gleason no. 7 (3 + 4), T2 possibly a T3a, N0, M0. Was swaying towards Brachytherapy but after zoom call today with Oncologist to talk about Brachytherapy he basically recommended radical prostatectomy would be the best option for my husband. So just hoping to hear from anyone that is happy to share their experiences on this type of treatment and how it affected them afterwards, ie.  healing time, incontinence problems, erectile dysfunction etc

Thanks in advance x
