Hi again JEM76 it's takes a moment to get a hang of navigating the community but keep going as you will connect many many people in the same position.
I think of the Online Community as lots of rooms (cancer type and support groups) all coming off a central corridor. The New to Community is like the reception desk....lets walk along the corridor.
I see you have already joined our dedicated Neuroendocrine tumours and Family and friends groups and I see you are supporting someone with incurable cancer so you may also want to join our Supporting someone with incurable cancer group.
The BOLD test above are all links to each group - just click on them and you will take you straight to the groups.
You can then introduce yourself by putting up a ‘new post’ in the groups by clicking in the box near the top right with + New or + (Depending on the device you are using). You will then see a dropdown menu so hit ‘Chat’ or ‘Start a Discussion in New here, say hello’ and you are ready to go.
You can also search through existing ‘Discussions’ and click [reply] if you want to put up a comment.
If you want to find the groups you have already joined click on YOUR community name and it will take you to YOUR area on the site where you will see the groups you have joined and if you want to look back at posts you have already put up on the site click on the word 'Activity' and this will show you all your old posts.
Always around to help you get settled into the community.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
