Hi

think I’m going crazy , had breast cancer diagnosed and surgery in Feb 21, had lymph nodes removed and they came back clear.

Blood test said liver enzymes were above normal, I’ve been on tamoxifen in 2013 for 5 years as had DCIS. For which I had surgery.

Ive had a routine MRCP 3 weeks ago and got appointment end of January for results.

Ive just totally convinced myself I’ve got liver cancer, I’ve spoke to doctor on the phone and she asked all question if I had any symptoms etc, but I am really well with no symptoms at all, she told me not to worry, but how can I not.

I feel it’s all bad news from one year to the next:(((Cry.

  • Hi , I see you have posted in the community before in our Breast cancer group.

Waiting for results is hard but do connect in with the BC group as there may well be others who have experienced the same journey.

As always the Macmillan Support Line is open 8am-8pm (timings may differ across services) 7 days a week on 0808 808 00 00 for emotional support or just a listening ear. You may also find our Ask an Expert section helpful but do allow a few working days for a reply.
