I'm sorry to read that your mum has recently been diagnosed with colon cancer which has spread to her liver and bones.
As the online community is divided up into different support groups I'm going to recommend that you join the bowel (colon and rectal) cancer, secondary liver cancer and secondary bone cancer groups as they are great places to ask questions and share experiences about this type of cancer and it's treatment. If you are your mum's carer then the carers only group would be a good place to join to discuss your emotions and worries or, if you're not your mum's carer, then the family and friends group is an equally supportive place to join.
To join any or all of these groups just click on the links I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you feel ready, it would be great if you could pop something about your mum's diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
