Hi I'm here trying to get some valuable information on how to survive chemotherapy.
Hi I didn't need chemo but I know people who did and have read many posts on here about people who have had chemo. I'm from the breast cancer forum and the ladies on there very often say that chemo turned out not to be as bad as they thought and that it is very doable. Once chemo is over peoples bodies seem to recover really well and eventually go back to normal so try not to be too scared.
I don't know what cancer you have but if you go to the forum for your particular cancer there might be a chemo thread like there is for breast cancer. You should then be able to connect with people going through chemo for the same cancer type you have.
Wishing you all the best with your treatment.
Thank you very much for getting back. I've got her2 positive and I'm still searching for answers, that's why I've jumped in on here seeing if I can find a way to bring me some calm again. I'm still going from pillar to post trying to come to terms with what's ahead for me and I've still to have a look around. Once again, thank you for your kind words.
try posting HERE to connect with people going through chemo now and to read their stories and posts. Also if you CLICK HERE it will take you to the main Breast cancer forum which tends to be really active with lots of people on there.
