My husband has just been diagnosed with liver cancer. He's got his first oncology appointment on Wednesday and hopefully he'll get some answers then about his options. His parents, brother, nephew and grandparents all died of cancer and I'm terrified he'll be next.

I'm sorry to read that your husband has just been diagnosed with liver cancer and it's natural that you're assuming the worst.
As the online community is divided up into different support groups I'm going to recommend that you join the liver cancer group which is a great place to ask questions and share experiences about this type of cancer and it's treatment. Can I also recommend that you join the carers only group which is a safe and supportive place to share your worries and emotions.
To join these groups just click on the links I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your husband's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'.
