My husband has just completed his 5 Chemo Session. This last year has been one I don't want to repeat! Everyone is always of course asking how my husband is. Someone asked me how I was doing today and I burst into tears. I realized no one has asked me before now Cry

  • Hi  and warm welcome to the Macmillan Online Community although sorry that you had to find us and especially sorry to hear about your husband and I notice from your profile that he has Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

I am Mike Thehighlander and I help out around our Lymphoma groups. I was diagnosed back in 1999 with a rare skin Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma so have been on this journey rather a long time.

There are over 60 types and subtypes of Lymphoma so we can’t have a group for every type but these are our main Lymphoma groups below:

    General Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma

    Follicular Lymphoma

    Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma

    Mantel Cell Lymphoma

    T-Cell Lymphoma

If you'd like to connect in with a group, you need to join the group. First click on the Green link I have created above. Then once the page opens click on the black banner that says [click to join] at the bottom, or the [Joinbutton under "Group tools."

You can then introduce yourself by putting up a ‘new post’ by clicking in the box near the top right with + New (Computers) or + (Mobile Devices). You will then see a dropdown menu so hit Start a Discussion in New here, say helloand you are ready to go.

You could copy and paste the text from this your first post. You can also search through existing ‘Discussions’ and click [reply] if you want to put up a comment.

I will keep an eye open for you in our Lymphoma Groups.

    Mike (Thehighlander)
