Hi everyone,

I’ve had a lot of interaction with Macmillan over the last couple of years with workshops and help with all sorts, first time here though as I need some support as Im struggling with grief over my mum.
Cancer has been a big part of my life, all my grand parents died of various forms, my dad died 11 years ago from aggressive non hodgekins lymphoma, my mum had kidney cancer 20 years ago and died in march from secondary brain tumour. Three years ago I was diagnosed with two different types in my appendix, had colorectal surgery and eight months of oxy-cap and am still struggling with side effects. Jees is alot when you write it all out. I guess I try and keep my chin up but Im struggling with xmas coming up after loosing my mum as she was totally my best friend. Thoughts and hugs to all of you at this emotional time of year

kindest regards
