Hello I have just received a diagnosis for breast cancer, my head is in a spin I really don’t know what to think, I have to go back in 23/12 I really don’t know what to expect, how do others feel about the waiting time as I found this equally as distressing as getting the result.
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
Although I had a different type of cancer I totally understand how difficult waiting is.
As you know the online community is divided up into different support groups and I can see that you've already joined the breast cancer group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support. When you feel ready to post there clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there where you can start a new post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help

Hello, I am new to the group. I have had two sessions of chemo, so far so good. I have decided to hand myself over to those who know what they are doing, and try really hard not to get stressed. I do have a question that someone might be able to help with. I have had my head shaved, and my scalp was sore when my hair was falling out, and it is very sore, can anyone recommend anything that will soothe it a bit please.
