Am I entitled to any help with housing, heating etc. I've had to drop my hours in work to 3 days instead of 5 and I'm struggling. I have kidney cancer, had my kidney removed 4 months ago, now T3 stage kidney cancer. I'm quarter of the way through immunotherapy as chemo won't work for me. Any advice welcomed

As the online community is divided up into different support groups I'm going to recommend that you join the kidney cancer group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support concerning your diagnosis and treatment.

I don't know if you qualify for help towards paying for housing, etc but you might find this information on benefits and financial support helpful. You could also speak to one of the Macmillan welfare rights advisors by phoning the Support Line on 0808 808 0000. It's free to call and they're available between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and between 9am and 5pm on Saturday and Sunday. If you'd prefer to talk to them via chat or email then clicking on the link will take you those options.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway.
