Hi everybody, it's been about a year since my last visit. So much water has travelled under that bridge I can tell you. From diagnosis - therapy - to recovery. People saying "be positive" "keep the pecker up" and other stupid things (that I probably would have said if I didn't know better). It's been 18 months since treatment ended. Wasn't easy for me but nobody asks about the partner. I still get sore but nothing that ibuprofen can't sort, and some cream for kneck area . But hey I'm here and hoping I can help anybody else. I'm also in a great wee group that helps take the mind off.

Hi and welcome back!
I've had a look at your activity and can't see any previous posts from you so I'm assuming that in the past you've just read posts. There's nothing wrong with that, lots of people do it, but it's great that you'd like to help others in the head and neck cancer group, which I can see you've joined.
I hope you don't mind me suggesting that you copy and paste your post from here into a new post in the head and neck cancer group as then you'll connect directly with others who have had the same type of cancer as you. If this is something you'd like to do clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there where you can start a new post in the same way as you did here.
