Hello this is my first time on here , just a quick note to where I'm at .Back in July I had a mole removed off my leg , turns out it was cancerous, iv had lymph nodes removed, and another margin of skin removed in the area . Thankfully everything has come back clear , but I'm going to have immunotherapy every 6 weeks for a year . Iv started my treatment today and was wondering how long would it be if it was going to affect me with the symptoms?? Would love to know other people's stories ..

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm sorry to read that a mole you had removed in the summer has turned out to be, I presume melanoma, as I can see that you've joined the melanoma group.

When you feel ready to post there just click on the link I've created which will take you straight there. There are quite a lot of people in the group at different stages with immunotherapy who I'm sure will be happy to share their experiences with you.

It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help
