Hi, I'm making contact on behalf of my brother who completed radiotherapy to his bladder almost 4 weeks ago. He is debilitated with urinary frequency,is not sleeping and my sister-in-law says he sits in the chair crying. He won't go anywhere as he's so afraid of accidents. His urinary specialist nurse says he's had everything she can give him. Is there someone who has had the same treatment and side effects that could give reassurance that things will improve and any extra advice? So wishing to help him.

I'm very sorry to read how your brother is feeling after he completed radiotherapy for bladder cancer. It must be very distressing for him and all his family.
The online community is divided up into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the bladder cancer group which is a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support.

It would be great if you could pop something about brother's diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when replying to you and also when looking for someone on a similar pathway.
