I have joined this group for help and support through my journey. I have been diagnosed with mouth cancer and wondering if anyone can share experiences and advice. Waiting for surgery no next couple of weeks. It’s taking time for it all to register with me . I am positive and will get through this.
Hi Annable60 and welcome to the Online Community but so sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with mouth cancer, this must have been such a shock but I do hope you will find lots of comfort and support here on the Online Community.
The Community has many dedicated support groups and I see you have already joined our Head and neck cancer support group. This will be a safe place to talk to other people who might have a similar diagnosis or treatment experience.

This service provides lots of cancer information, emotional support, benefit and financial guidance or just a listening ear.

Talking to people face to face can indeed help a lot but during these strange times it’s not that available but do check to see if you have any Local Macmillan Support in your area has opened up. Do also check out for a local Maggie's Centre
