Hi,
I was diagnosed with cancer 2 days ago.
I am scared and anxious.
I have to wait for a PET scan to look for any spread.
any tips on reducing anxiety would be gratefully received
Hi and welcome to the community, although sorry to hear you have had a cancer diagnosis. We understand how you must be feeling at the moment. Many of us know the how scary and anxious this time is for you. The uncertainty and not knowing can be the worst time. Once a treatment plan is put in place, things tend to be slightly easier as you know something positive is happening and you have something to focus on. If you let us know what cancer it is you have, we can point you to the relevant group where the members with experience will be able to support and help you going forward. I hope all goes well. Best wishes.
Hi . Let us know when you find out and there will be someone here with experience to guide you through things. In the meantime, there is always someone here if you just want to talk. Best wishes.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
