Hi Runner85 and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm sure you'll find the support of the other ladies in the vulva cancer group, which I can see you've joined, invaluable in the lead up to and after your operation.
When you feel ready to post there just click on 'New' and start posting just like you did here. You can also join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop something about your diagnosis and treatment so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.

That's great thank you I've added to my profile now xx
Hi Vicky
Sorry to hear about your diagnosis, I was diagnosed with a cancer in my Vulva but it was a slight different diagnosis. Like you I am fairly young at 46 to be diagnosed with cancer.
I've had 1 surgery to remove the lump in my vulva and then an extra surgery to excise the margin. The hospital was really good and I felt safe throughout both surgeries, but was glad to get home to recover. You are not alone and there are plenty of people to reach out to on here that are happy to talk. Hope all goes well on the 12th
Best wishes
Chrissy
