Good afternoon,
I'm very new to this, my mum has just recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer
She has progressive stomach cancer, cancer of the liver,
Bowel and lymphnoids. Her first chemotherapy was on the
25th October but I don't feel she's getting any better,even marginally.
She is sleeping so much, barely eating and when she is it passed through her.
I feel completely useless añd my heart is breaking for her.
I don't even know what to ask on here.
Hi and a warm welcome to the online community
I'm very sorry to read that your mum has recently been diagnosed with cancer and I know how hard this will be for the whole family.
I'm not sure from your post if your mum has 4 different cancers or, if not, which one is the primary. If you could help me with this then I could give you direct links to various groups where you can ask questions, share experiences and get support.

Hi again
I realise that you might not want to give me further information about your mum so I'm going to list various groups which you can join depending on which type/s of cancer your mum has. This list is cancer specific and the groups are great places to ask questions and share experiences around treatment, etc.
You might also like to join the supporting someone with incurable cancer group which is a safe and supportive place for anyone who has a loved one with a terminal diagnosis to discuss their emotions about the prospect of losing their loved ones, as well as practical issues about palliative care and end of life.
To join any of these groups just click on the links I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
It would be great if you could pop a little something about your mum's diagnosis and treatment into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar pathway. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.
