My sister was diagnosed, eventually, on 7 October with a cancer in her kidney and a secondary in her spine.

She is waiting for the oncology team to contact her with details of her treatment plan.

How long is this likely to take and what should we expect?

From my 22 years experience on my cancer journey there is no set time for things to happen as it is often all about collecting information, scans, results and even once these eliminates are in place cases are often put in front of the hospitals weekly Multidisciplinary Team Meeting (MDT)

Navigating the community will depend on the device you are using. To join a group just click on the green link above then scroll down and choose 'click to join' or 'join' on the page that opens.

You can then introduce yourself by putting up a post by clicking  on ‘New Thread’ or ‘New here, say hello’ then hit the box with the X on the top right (phones).

You could just copy and paste the text from this your first post and you can also join in with existing ‘Discussions’ by clicking on 'reply'.
