I had a biopsy at the hospital about 18days ago and today I had a missed call from the hospital. I was at work so didn’t know until I finished at 6pm. Now I am worried that they didn’t leave a message because surely if nothing wrong then they would have left a voicemail. I am so worried I couldn’t phone back because it’s just an automated message saying you was called today by (local) hospital. Can’t sleep hopefully they will call again tomorrow but also don’t want to know. How was people notified any advice what could suggest ?? Apologies if I have asked this in the wrong place x

I am so sorry to read about you missing you call from the hospital, waiting for results can be very stressful but I hope you will find the support available in the community helpful at this difficult and challenging time.
I have been on my cancer journey for over 22 years now and this has often happened to me with some calls were good news some with not so good.
Lets look for them to call back soon so you can move this forward but do call the hospital and see if you can be put through to the correct department.
