We’ve been battling this cancer journey for over 7 years. In that time I’ve had 2 family members diagnosed with the same cancer and one diagnosed with another..

It’s always quiet hard to accept when you find out Someone you love has cancer, and to be told that multiple times over the last 7 years makes me feel like I’ve become quite immune to the feeling of heartbreak and dread when you first find out.

Currently where facing that one family members cancer may of returned while currently also watching the other go through treatment.

I just feel very useless and like I’m not doing enough lately, It’s possibly the hardest journey ever and I just don’t know how to help them anymore, I wish there was more I could do!

  • Hi and welcome to the online community

I'm so sorry to read about all your family members who have been diagnosed with cancer over the years.

The online community is divided up into different support groups so can I recommend that you join the family and friends group which is a safe and supportive place to share your worries and emotions and find out how others helped a loved one with cancer.

To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.
