My dad was diagnosed with pancreatic and liver cancer 8 weeks ago. We found out 2 weeks ago that it is not treatable. We are devastated, and I'm finding it difficult to talk about it to anyone. We are trying to do as much as we can when he's having a good day, but each time we've spent time together, I come home upset.
I thought a Macmillan nurse would have become involved to provide support to both my parents, but this hasn't happened yet.
How do I come to terms with what's happening and stay strong for my parents?
I'm angry with the whole situation.

Hi and welcome to the Online Community but so sorry to hear about your dad’s diagnosis.
A cancer diagnosis in the family can be very challenging and a very emotional time so you might find this Macmillan information your feelings when someone has cancer helpful.
With regards to a Macmillan Nurse (or other support organisations) my understanding is your dad’s clinical team /GP are required to refer his case onto these teams so you need to chase this up first through your dads clinical team/GP
