Hi and welcome to the Online Community but so sorry to hear about your Lymphoma diagnosis.
I am Mike and I help out around our Lymphoma groups.
I don’t have Hodgkin's Lymphoma (I see you have joined this group already) but was diagnosed way back in 1999 with a rare incurable but treatable type of skin Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage 4a and although my Lymphoma ‘type’ is different I have experienced most types of treatments used but not necessarily the exact same drug mix.
The New to Community is like the Community Reception area and as there are many cancer types and experiences so likewise the Community has many support groups and as I see you have joined our supportive Hodgkin's Lymphoma - this will be the best place for you to get support and information from people who understand this journey….. Although I am assuming that it is HL you have, get back to me if it’s not.
Navigating the community will depend on the device you are using.
To go to the group just click on the green link above then introduce yourself by putting up a post by clicking on ‘New Thread’ or ‘New here, say hello’ then hit the box with the X on the top right (phones).
You could just copy and paste the text from this your first post. You can also join in with existing ‘Discussions’ by clicking on 'reply'.
It’s always good to talk so do call the Macmillan Support Services on 0808 808 00 00 - most services are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week Clicking here to see what is available. This service provides lots of cancer information, support, financial guidance or just a listening ear.
We also have Cancer Nurse Team in our Ask an Expert section, but do allow two working days for replies from our expert team.
To find information covering diagnosis, treatments and pages covering most types of cancers check our Online Information and Support Section.
If you need any help navigating to the group do get back to me on this post but I will look out for you in the HL group and we can talk more about what the journey going forward may look like.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
