It's my first post. 3 or so weeks in lump in my breast found, off for mammogram and biopsy, still fairly chilled at this point. Cancer found in breast, reasonably calm but kinda scared. CT scan says the fun don't stop there its in bones and liver. Still reeling from it. Feels like a tornado ran through and I got caught in the eye of the storm. Please feel free to mentally include various swear words I may have missed.
Systemic drug regime to begin. It all seems a bit overwhelming for a fairly laid back kiwi gal, so top tips more than welcome.

A cancer diagnosis can be very challenging but talking with others who are walking the same type of cancer treatment journey will help you navigate this difficult time.
The New to Community is like the Community Reception area and as there are many cancer types and experiences so likewise the Community has many support groups and I do see you have joined and posted in our supportive Breast cancer group, you may also want to join our Breast, secondary cancer group as these will be good places to connect with folks who may be on the same cancer treatment pathway.
