Hi, i recently got diagnosed with a meningioma in the brain which cant be operated on. However i have undergone 7 weeks of daily radiotherapy. Its been 2 months since i finished but i still feel so shattered and fatigued. Is this normal as i had expected to be feeling less tired by now?
Im 51 so it might be age related too? Has anyone had similar experience or can advise if this is normal

Hi Nobby1969 and welcome to the Online Community but so sorry to hear about your diagnosis and ongoing treatment left overs
A cancer diagnosis can be very challenging but talking with others who are walking the same type of cancer journey will help you navigate this difficult time. My cancer is completely different although I had 45 sessions of Radiotherapy and yes, fatigue can last far longer then you would imagine.
The New to Community is like the Community Reception area and as there are many cancer types so likewise the Community has many cancer specific support groups so can I recommend you join our supportive Brain tumours group as this will be a good place to connect with folks on the same cancer treatment pathway.
To join a group just click on the link above then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens.
You can then introduce yourself by putting up a ‘New Thread’ or hit the box with the X on the top right (phones), you could just copy and paste the text from this your first post. You can also join in with existing ‘Discussions’ by clicking on 'reply'.
