Hello
I have recently been diagnosed and will be starting Chemo next week- I am very much in shock, unsure what to get out of this group chat. Totally out of my comfort zone doing this however felt it would be helpful to talk with others outside my family and friends circle, who I suppose ironically you always feel you’ve got to be positive and reassuring.
Can this be an app ?
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
I'm sorry to read that you've recently had a cancer diagnosis and everyone in the community will understand your feelings of shock right now.
The community is divided up into different support groups so if you want to tell me what type of cancer you are being treated for I can give you a direct link to that group. Alternatively you can look through this list and choose the appropriate one for you.
It would be great if you could pop something about your husband's diagnosis and treatment so far in your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.
x
