After many hours searching the net I find myself here, I had my diagnosis just 2 weeks ago that I have Primary breast cancer grade 1/2.

Although I am positive in my outcome I still have pangs of anxiety and constantly looking for new answers.

I hope today that reaching out to like mind people will make my world less lonely and daunting.

  • Hi  and a very warm welcome to the online community

We are all definitely guilty of spending hours 'googling' our cancer but my best advice would be just to use reputable websites like this one and Cancer Research, etc as so much information on the internet is out of date or wrong and you've probably just made yourself feel worse by reading some of the things out there.

I can see that you already joined and posted in the triple negative breast cancer group, which I assume is the type of breast cancer that you have, but can I recommend that you also join the main breast cancer group, as this is also a great place to ask questions, share experiences and get support. If you'd like to do this just click on the link I've created and then join and post in the same way as you did before.

It would be great if you could update your profile with your diagnosis and treatment so far as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.

Thank you latchbrook… I will follow all the advice given and even managed to have a little chuckle. I did my profile but after reading yours I can see I am a novice with this.

can I applaud you for all you have been through … I hope one day I can pass this information over to some other newbie and help them Pray tone1

Glad I could give you a chuckle Slight smile

I'm sure you'll start helping others quicker than you think even if initially it's just to say "hello, I'm new too".

Hi Rockinn.  Me too.  Have had an op which was successful and lymph nodes clear.
