H I was diagnosed with ovarian and womb cancer in October, I am having treatment at the moment. my partner is amazing and has been such strength for me but she has emotional borderline personality disorder which is a very complicated mental health disorder. She is really struggling with everything that is happening to me and her of course. she has reached out to her own cpn who is great but has be unable to really help, i was wondering if there was anyone out there who is going through this too, or if anyone knows how I can help get support for her through here. I think just someone for her too talk to about what her fears and concerns are. She is amazing being there for me, I just want to be there for her too in anyway I can.
Hi Spongebob39 and welcome to the Macmillan Online Community although sorry that you needed to find us and especially sorry to hear about your diagnosis and the challenges your partner is having.
A cancer diagnosis brings many questions, confusion and lots of stress but talking with other people who are walking the same type of journey will help you navigate this rollercoaster.

I will always say the person looking on can have just as hard a journey. Your partner my benefit from talking with cancer support expert, my wife said it did help her a lot, but during these times it’s not that available but do check to see if you have any Local Macmillan Support in your area or a Maggie’s Centre as these folks are amazing and a lot of these services have moved onto online video support but some one on one in centre support is opening up. Also check this link to the Macmillan Buddies Telephone Service
It’s always good to talk and the Macmillan Support Services provides lots of information and support or just a listening ear.
Most services are open 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week and it's free to call on 0808 808 00 00 have a look by Clicking here to see what is available and we also have our Ask an Expert section, but do allow two working days for replies from our expert team.
