Hi my dad has stage 3 cancer. He is coping well but I don't think my mam is. She dosnt know how to support him. I go to all his appointments with him as she says dosnt understand. I need to get some emotional help for both of them and for someone to speak and and explain to them in proper terms not hospital language as its really hard to understand what there meaning is and what it means. And help to how I could get it would be great.
Hi and welcome to the Macmillan Online Community although sorry that you needed to find us and especially sorry to hear about your dad’s diagnosis and how your mum is struggling.

You don’t say what type of cancer your dad has, the Online Community is organised into various support groups. This list is for our Cancer specific groups these are good places to connect with others navigating the support of a family member on the same type of cancer journey.
