Hi,  It's the first group I've joined and I have so many questions.  I have been living with breast cancer since October 2018 and through lockdown I was struggling to have my aggressive cancer treated or even acknowledged by a doctor when it came back with fury in September 2020.  What was originally a treatable breast cancer in 2018 has now moved to my sternum and I have triple negative breast cancer now spread to my lymph.  Unfortunately during lockdown not all lives mattered when it came to cancer.  I am trying to find out more about secondary breast cancer to the sternum and now small cancer cells where found in my lymph when I received a mastectomy last month along with a full anxillary clearance.  Can anyone help me navigate through the macmillan site for more education about treating sternum cancer?  Many thanks, x

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm very sorry to read that you've recently discovered that your breast cancer has spread and it's perfectly normal to feel like you do.

The online community is divided up into different support groups so I'm going to recommend that you join the secondary breast cancer group where you can ask questions, share experiences and get support.

To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

If you have any difficulty navigating the community just drop me a reply and I'll be pleased to help.
