    Hi Matilda

You're just a month or so behind my husband - his colonoscopy was mid-Jan. It's been an absolute whirlwind since. Most agonising bit was definitely where you are now: waiting for all the scans & results.

Once he had the results appointment, everything has happened very quickly. He starts 5 days of radiotherapy on 22nd Feb, then chemo from 15th March. Even his covid vaccine has been sorted & was done today.

Every person we've met at the hospital has been utterly lovely. I've been allowed to accompany him to support & take notes. I hope that you have someone who can similarly support you.

It's a long road ahead. We're taking it one step at a time. That's all that you can too.

    X
