Since my diagnosis in December 2019 I haven’t used anything like this to reach out for advice but lately I feel like myself and my family need some extra support but I’m unsure where to even start. I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and I was 30 weeks pregnant with 2nd child at the time . It was an awful time having to go though breast surgery while still being pregnant but the birth of my son got me though the dark days and since then I feel like it’s just been a whirlwind of ups and downs with chemo rounds and trying to be the best mum I can inbetween. I’m currently on my second lot of chemo and after 5 rounds I’m ready to give up the treatment! The side affects are hitting me so much harder then last time and my recent scan results has shown a mixed response to the treatment? Has anyone else had this and then found a treatment that worked for them? I have been looking into alternatives and I feel a little lost. I have an appointment with my oncologist soon and I don’t have a clue where to go from here.
The stress of this is also starting to show on my partner and I’m unsure who he should talk to and if he will even do it?
