Hi all, just had salvage chemo for diffuse large B cell in my chest area, I have refractory disease so have now been referred to Birmingham for possible cart -t therapy. Uncertain what the future may hold so opening up to the group if anybody has had a similar journey.
Hi and a warm welcome to the Online Community, a Community that no one really looks to see themselves joining and so sorry to hear about your on going DLBCL journey.
A blood cancer journey can be full of twists and turns having been on my NHL journey for over 21 years that resulted in having two Allo (donor) Stem Cell Transplants.
The Online Community is organised into dedicated support groups and I see you have joined our supportive Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma group, this is a good place where you will connect with others walking the same journey where you will find a few folks who have been through car-t.
Follow the above link introduce yourself, post questions or just join in with existing discussions by clicking on 'reply'.
I will keep an eye open for you in the group.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
