Hi my name is Jo just been diagnosed with breast cancer on 30th December have bern given a week to wrap my head a bit around it and will be back in clinic on Thursday so they can grade my cancer. I have a 12 year old wee girl and dont know how to tell her or what to say.
Hi Josephine46 welcome to the forum and I am so sorry to hear your news your head will be full of questions and what if's and when etc and thats all normal thought I accept that it may not feel like that for you right now.
I would be tempted to wait until you know exactly what t is you are dealing with before you sit down and have a chat with your daughter and if you felt able to give the Macmillan Line a call on 08088080000 they have booklets that children can read and also one of their advisors may be able to give you some suggestions about what to say to her.
Please do keep in touch and let us know how you get on as we will be thinking of you.xxxx
Thank you for replying i really aporeciate it think i will contact macmillian and have all my eggs in the one basket befire i chat to my daughter because i know she will have a ton of questions. X
