Hi everyone, I'm currently in the middle of my diagnosis. All I have been told so far is that it looks a little complicated as the mass is below my spine but I had a biopsy last week and hopefully they will be enough for a diagnosis and to know what my treatment will be..

I am looking to speak to people my age who are also going through their cancer journey. I'm 27 years old :)

  • Hi and welcome to the online community

I'm sorry to read that you're currently waiting for a diagnosis and to find out what your treatment might be. It's great that you've felt able to reach out to the community for support.

We do have a group for people who have been diagnosed at a young age which you could join if you're wanting to speak to others of a similar age.

To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions in the same way as you did here and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

If you are diagnosed with cancer then I'd highly recommend that you join one of the cancer specific groups where you can ask questions, share experiences and get support no matter what your age.

When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

If you need any help finding your way around the community just give me a shout.
