I am looking for support and feeling isolated and scared and would love to share experiences. I have terminal lung cancer - been a long journey beginning a year ago. They say it is 'treatable but not curable'. I'm currently having immunotherapy  and am on my 4th cycle. I have been really missing support from others in a similar situation. I am not sure how much to say right now but would definitely like to talk to others and share experiences. I am in my late sixties, I have a wonderful daughter and two amazing grandchildren, girls aged 7 and 9. The thought of not being there to watch them growing up is unbearable. Also the thought of leaving my daughter. We are very close.

Hi Mike, Just to say thanks for your very speedy reply. Much appreciated. I have already had some brilliant support from the nurses on the helpline. In fact it is on my to do list to call them again to help explain my latest scan results. Great to hear you have journeyed for many years in the 'treatable not curable' group.

Thanks again - I love the Mandela quote.
