Hi, I'm new to the group looking to talk to people in a similar position to me. My Mum has been diagnosed with cancer and I'm terrified. I'm scared for her and everything she's going through and just want people who understand the situation I'm in to talk to.
Hi and welcome to the online community
I'm very sorry to read that your mum has recently been diagnosed with cancer and I know what a scary time this will be for you both.
I can see that you've already found and posted in the family and friends group which is a great place to get support from others who have a loved one with cancer. Your post there says that your mum is having a liver resection and I can see that you've joined the secondary liver cancer group. If you have questions relating to secondary liver cancer then you can ask questions and share experiences with others in that group.
When you feel up to it, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your mum's journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.
