I had a thyroid scan last week and the doctor has rang and said I have a U3 nodule and two U2 nodules on my thyroid hes referred me to an ENT for further tests. My concern is that for over three months I've had difficulty swallowing and really bad hoarse voice, painful headaches and pain in my neck. Does this mean I may have thyroid cancer with the U3 referral so sorry to ask when this site is for actual diagnosis but didn't know where else to go.

There's no need to apologise for asking questions as this site is as much for people having tests for possible cancer as it is for those who have been diagnosed. Having said that I don't know the answer to your question but I'm sure someone in the thyroid cancer group will.
