hi
just wondered if any one else has experienced short shocks while trying to sleep, my husband has got lymphoma we don't know which type yet, and he's not on any treatment yet but the past 3 nights he can't get any sleep because these little shocks or jolts keep waking him up. can anyone advise please
I'm sorry to read that your husband has been experiencing little shocks or jolts that keep waking him up.
I can see that you posted in the New to the Community area a little while ago but you haven't joined any groups yet. As you don't know what type of lymphoma your husband has yet could I suggest that you join the hodgkin lymphoma group as it's probably the busiest lymphoma group and you might find people there who have experienced the feelings that your husband is getting. You can always join a different group later on if it is a different type of lymphoma.
To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then post your question and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.
When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your husband's journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

Hi again all new to me, have you reported this to his clinical team?...... as these things need to be reposted in.
Even without being in treatment blood cancers can ‘play’ with the body so best to get checked out xx
hi mike
no we haven't said anything yet to the clinic, he was due to be seen on tues but that has been cancelled due to covid and moved to the following wk, wasn't sure how important it is or even relevant to his cancer this is why i was asking if anyone else had these symptoms .
thanks for your advise and support x
At the moment everything is important but not everything will be an issue.
But we don’t understand what is important and that is why you pass it onto his team ((hugs))
