Hi I'm new to this but just wanted to see others and get advise. I was found to have stage 4 vaginal cancer last nov. I had chemotherapy  radiotherapy and internal radiotherapy. At first it came back no signs of cancer which was great. But I was having so much pain. After a biopsy it came back that I had it still lucky it has not spread but because where it is they can not op so its more chemotherapy to see if it shrinks. I also had to have a stoma bag which I cope with. Its hard my hubby is trying to help so much buy with 3 kids a puppy its hard work any help or advice would help

  • Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community

I'm very sorry to read that you have vaginal cancer and that having thought you'd got rid of it you're now going to have to have more treatment.

As the community is divided up into groups I'm going to recommend that you join the vaginal cancer group where you can ask questions, share experiences and get support from others with the same type of cancer.

To join just click on the link I've created and then choose 'click to join' or 'join' (depending on the device you're using) on the page that opens. You can then introduce yourself and post questions and join in with existing conversations by clicking on 'reply'.

When you have a minute, it would be really useful if you could pop something about your journey so far into your profile as it really helps others when answering or looking for someone with a similar diagnosis. It also means that you don't have to keep repeating yourself. To do this click on your username and then select 'Profile'. You can amend it at any time and if you're not sure what to write you can take a look at mine by clicking on my username.

    Sending a ((hug))
